Sun Do Wellness

Sun Do Wellness is a yoga studio located in West Hartford, Connecticut. It offers an ancient Taoist form of yoga originally practiced in the mountains of Korea, known as Sun Do. This practice is a way to connect to nature and find harmony.

The Sun Do practice is based on the principles of internal alchemy and the Five Elements Theory, which posits that the elements of Fire, Wood, Earth, Metal, and Water are manifested within us. The practice includes postures and internal organ exercises rooted in the five elements, and aims to balance the yin and yang energy.

The studio offers a variety of classes, including all-levels classes and intro classes for newcomers. Classes are held in the studio and online via Zoom, and the schedule includes morning and evening classes on weekdays and weekends. The studio also offers retreats and workshops, and members are notified of these special events.

The instructors at Sun Do Wellness have extensive experience in the practice and have found it to be beneficial for their physical, mental, and spiritual well-being. They offer a supportive and caring community for students to practice and grow.
